Volunteers Needed For Memory Impairment Program

0
0

Primrose is a program that cares for people with memory impairment. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help our residents and day club members enjoy our programs.  Our programs are not only rewarding, but also a lot of fun!

Our non-profit is offering a new program called Music and Memory in which we create personal playlist for our residents using ITunes and IPods. Neuroscience research has shown that many people benefit profoundly from hearing their favorite songs that tap fond memories. We can make this available to our residents with your help. If you are interested in working with us on his new project please let us know.  Volunteers can work from as little as one hour to as much as you want.

Volunteers often become their friends and companions. Your willingness to share your time, talents and friendship with our residents would be deeply appreciated.  For more information, please contact Karina Climaco at 578-8360
