Volunteers are needed to help out with Redwood Credit Union’s “Bite of Reality” program, which teaches students about the financial realities of the real world. Students are given a new identity complete with career and financial responsibilities; they must then utilize their income to purchase life needs from different stations run by volunteers. Social Advocates for Youth houses more youth than usual during the winter months, and the organization needs your help to feed them! Between now and March SAY will need dinner for 20 youths every night. The organization is looking for meals to be purchased and prepared by volunteers.
